Demo application clipboard is always emptied.

Using the demo application on latest master:

The clipboard is always emptied while the application is running.
This includes information copied from other applications.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Open demo app
2. Copy something outside of the application
3. Try to paste it again
4. Nothing happens the copied stuff is not pasted.

**Expected behavior**

Clipboard contains data that was cut or copied and can be pasted again.
