Question: Unmounting/Ejecting USB - Two Notifications - First Blinks By To Fast...

I'm running CachyOS, hyprland 0.49, and mako 1.10.0

I've noticed this doesn't appear to be a notification issue with any particular application, this just seems like a Wayland issue I've been seeing.

In X11 with the typical DE/WM, when I unmount/eject a usb device, the first notification will be saying it's unmounting the device, I don't remember the exact wording, but I assume you know what I am referring to, it's common with USB devices. Then once this notification/process has completed, another notification appears, saying the device has been unmount/ejected, or safe to remove...

In Hyrpland, I never see the first notification process, starting to unmount/eject. From what I can tell, it's just happening to fast in Wayland, and there's no time to read this notification, before the last one appears.

It would be nice if there was a way to slow down the first notification, have a set time on it to be displayed, and then the next notification. Is there a way, when having these multi notifications appearing back to back, to set a time on both of them?

P.S. After posting this, I've looked online and through the man. Some of the reading seems to suggest this is possible, and I've tried a lot of different options with no success.

Start by reproducing the USB unmount/eject notification sequence described with CachyOS, Hyprland 0.49, and mako 1.10.0, then review the mako man page and the notification options already tried. Done means determining whether consecutive notifications can each have a visible duration and documenting or implementing a clear way to control that behavior.
