File Drag and drop doesn't work in several view modes

tl;dr dragging and dropping files into folders doesn't work in several view modes.

Version: 1.28.0

Doesn't work in the following views: Icon view (second to left, four squares), the second icon view types (six squares), split mode (three vertical lines), dual mode (two vertical lines), four way split mode (rightmost view mode).

It works in: List view.

Problem description:
a. When a file is selected and the mouse button is held, it's possible to drag the file representation to a target folder.
b. The target folder is highlighted (blue borders) when the mouse cursor is on top of it.
c. When the mouse button is released, the file representation disappears from the cursor, but not from the source folder, and the file is not moved
