Filterbare tot postlist, caroussel, element

At present the filterbar is only available for the portfolio element (pro version). There are a number of elements where multiple items can be displayed (posts, image box, icon box, carroussel, slides) besides being able to select at the backend which items wil be displayed based on category/tag/taxonomy. I would like that the enduser at the front end has a filter bar and the user can select which items will be shown.
I.e. a generic filterbar for all elements where multiple items can be displayed.
