The player freezes when attempting to play any video

### What Happened?

I can't play any of my videos without the player freezing right at the start. I can't play videos in .mkv, .avi, and .wmv formats.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the player.

2. Try playing any video file in .mkv, .avi, or .wmv format.

### Expected Behavior

That the video files play correctly.

8.x (Circe)

### OS Architecture

amd64 (on most hardwares)

### Session Type

Secure Session (Wayland, This is the default)

### Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)
