Description
### What Happened?
HI everyone,
Full disclosure: I'm new to modern linux, trying to rescue some e-waste and use as a daily driver.
I'm trying to use ElementaryOS on a 2015 15" MacBook Pro (11,5). I had some problems with the Elementary installer throwing errors about the drive. I was able to push past those and get it installed.
The problem I'm having now is after Elementary updates the system after the fresh install, every time I boot up I get the "e" swirl, a screen flash, and then a black screen.
So many of the help I've found has been, well, less than helpful, assuming someone has knowledge on what to do.
I'm grateful for any hand holding, as I really appreciate the idea of Elementary and would love to use it.
With appreciation,
George
