Description

Hi. I have a laptop (Acer aspire 5) with a Intel i5 8250u (4 cores, 8 threads) 1.6ghz turbo 3.4ghz.

I connect my laptop to a Samsung 4k 28" screen, extended desktop, and the only way to have smooth experience is setting energy profile to "performance" (2.4ghz - 3.4ghz all the time) plugged power cable all the time, scaled desktop 2x (duplicated pixels) and disabled effects, even so the video performance is bad, for example in web browsers like chromium, chrome and opera the video experience is poor, the CPU load is high, the only web browser that show good performance in video is Firefox.

Note: the CPU temperature is controlled (I have an app for monitor this)

Exists issues for this CPU or any other issue about high resolutions?
