Volume "pop" is a bit harsh

it seems like the pop sound is a bit harsh for some reason. I'm not sure if it's too loud, or if the frequency is too high, or what's up but I notice when changing the volume on elementary OS it sounds a bit sharp/harsh compared to changing the volume on stock GNOME or Ubuntu (with Yaru sounds).
