Description
I am running _elementary-os/daily_. This problem started to occur two days ago; prior to that, I had no such issues.
When attempting to open the sound-plug, Switchboard freezes completely and has to be killed. This happens regardless of whether I open Switchboard myself and then select "sound" or try to access the sound plug immediately (via Slingshot or the wingpanel-indicator). In the latter case, Switchboard opens correctly, but only shows the selection page (and is frozen right away).
Running Switchboard from the terminal and subsequently attempting to access sound settings results in some fatal errors.
Full terminal output:
`[INFO 13:44:03.628014] Application.vala:153: System Settings version: 2.0

`

I have tried re-installing the plug, which led to switchboard-plug-gcc-sound being replaced by switchboard-plug-sound (which _did_ open, but was severely lacking in functionality).
Reinstalling switchboard-plug-gcc-sound reestablished this bug.
