No Sound via HDMI connection

### What Happened?

After installing elementary os 7 on my mini desktop computer **no sound output over hdmi** conncection is available in the audio settings. Only the internal computer speaker is available in the audio settings.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Open sound menue in the top task bar
2. Open audiosettings
3. Select "Output" tab

### Expected Behavior

I would expect that the HDMI output connection is available (and selectable) in the output tab of the audio settings.
