Implement "larger resolutions" akin to Chrome OS

After having used [CloudReady](https://www.neverware.com) for a lengthy period of time on my laptop, I'd love to remain on elementary OS, but it'd be great if the team behind elementary were able to implement something that CloudReady (based on [Chromium](https://www.chromium.org/Home)) does with its display settings.

CloudReady (and parent software) is able to use a resolution of **1536x864**.

This isn't a native resolution whatsoever, but it's a great addition that allows me to feel comfortable with my 1366x768 screen.

Is there any way this could be added to elementary someday?
