Description

### What Happened?

My headset no longer works as expected, specifically its microphone. It's a generic one, the mic is combined with the play/pause button. Every time I press the button or try to use the microphone (for example, speak into it) the audio flickers between built-in speakers and headphones for a moment. Speaker icon in the panel flashes, too. There's no sound input registered from the headset mic.

The headphones themselves work fine, are recognized in the sound settings. The microphone is not recognized.

The headset and its microphone worked fine on eOS Hera. My laptop's model is ASUS x75v.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Install eOS 6
2. Connect generic headset into your laptop's 3.5 mm jack
3. Try to use the microphone

### Expected Behavior

Ability to use the external headset and it's microphone.

### OS Version

6.x (Odin)

### Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

### Log Output

_No response_
