can't connect to wlan via WPS

AFAIK Ubuntus network manager doesn't support WPS (Wifi Protected Setup), but wpa gui does.
Could this feature be implemented with reasonable effort?

Searching for the wlan password instead of pressing a button on the router may be dissapointing for a user coming from Windows.
