Description

## Prerequisites
- [X] I have searched open and closed issues for duplicates.

## Describe the bug
The network plug in switchboard shows the friendly name of the device i'm connected to (iPhone), while the wingpanel indicator shows a machine name (eth0).

### To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Connect an iPhone
2. Click on the network indicator
4. See machine name

### Expected behavior
I would expect the wingpanel indicator and the switchboard plug to have the same name of the network interface. Preferably the human readable (Apple iPhone) one.
