Crash when changing viewmode during file operation

### What Happened?

Started copying a large number of files to a USB memory stick while viewing the destination folder.
During the operation switched the viewmode from "Icon" to "List". Files crashed.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a file operation while viewing the destination
2. Switch view mode during operation

### Expected Behavior

Either switching modes should be inhibited or the view mode should switch without crashing while the contents of the viewed folder are rapidly changing.
