Folders not automatically deselected in column view

### What Happened?


After entering a folder, the parent folder is still highlighted as selected. However, this is not accurate. After entering the folder, that folder is automatically deselected (which is not reflected visually), and copying the file in that folder will not copy its parent folder.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Enter column view
2. Open a folder
3. Select a file
4. Copy
5. Click paste somewhere else
6. Only the file is copied, not the folder, but when 'copy' is clicked in step 4 the folder was still highlighted as being selected

### Expected Behavior

Folders are automatically de-selected after entering the folder to reflect actual behaviour.
