Dock does not always show when expected

### What Happened?

I have the "Hide when focused window overlaps dock" setting active. When there is a focused window large enough to overlap the dock (but not contiguous with the bottom edge or maximised), which there usually is, moving the pointer down to the bottom edge sometimes reveals the dock as expected but usually doesn't.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Select setting as above
2. Focus a window that overlaps the dock
3. Try to access the dock with the pointer.

### Expected Behavior

It is very annoying not being able to access the dock when desired (especially with no keyboard access). Pointer pressure on the bottom edge should always reveal the dock, certainly when there is a gap between the bottom edge and the window.
