Description
It appears that only on the **first** connect to a network that requires some kind of confirmation via HTTP(S) before allowing a device to actually connect to the internet.
when working on a train, i sometimes like to not start any browsers, so i'm taken by surprise when `git push` hangs despite the WiFi logo showing a connection.

Research direction
Start in the capnet-assist repository by reproducing the captive-portal case described for a train WiFi connection, including a connection that needs HTTP(S) confirmation and a later `git push`. Trace when the login prompt is shown after reconnecting; done means the prompt appears on every connection requiring confirmation, rather than only the first one.
