Search results on localized desktop are not localized

When searching for some applications (not belonging to the default elementary stack) in the menu, search results are not localized, while the application name is otherwise properly localized when not being searched for.

To reproduce:
1. Set your locale to some non-English variant (I'm going to use French as an example)
2. Install GNOME Maps (as an example of an application affected by the issue; there are other)
3. Open the menu. GNOME Maps' name is properly localized in the applications list. In French, that'd be _Cartes_.
4. Now search for _Cartes_ (or whatever that is in your locale).
5. Notice that search results return Maps instead of Cartes.

OS version: fully up-to-date elementary 5.1.
