Quick question on EOL-Rebase

Hello!

Would it be possible please to have confirmation that when an app is EOL-rebased:
the .var/app/OLD_APP_ID folder gets renamed to .var/app/NEW_APP_ID ?

as in the users can expect their data and settings to be still present, and the app to start as usual as if nothing happened?
