### Steps to reproduce
1. Even with colourful avatars on a dark theme, the bloom effect is very muted and subtle. With less colourful avatars it’s even more invisible, and on a light theme it’s almost entirely invisible.

more vibrant (perhaps +20% saturation in HSV colorspace)
