### Steps to reproduce

1. Initiate a call on a supported Android device; if not in earpiece mode, manually turn it on;
2. Cover the proximity sensor;
3. Uncover the sensor and hang up;
4. Immediately after hanging up, cover the proximity sensor again.

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
The proximity sensor should be released immediately after a voice call ends.

#### What happened instead?
The proximity sensor will not be released unless you manually return to the home screen.
