Beeper Rooms & Spaces don't show up

### Steps to reproduce

1. Connect beeper account to element X
2. Sign in using username & password, then provide the recovery key
3. Sign it normally
4. Presented with an empty screen. (without any of the spaces / rooms I'm part of)

# Notes
- It works just fine under the previous Element client
- It also works with other clients such as Element web
