Research direction
Start from the camera and video buttons in the message composer, then trace the Android launch path they use. Reproduce the behavior on Android 14 with the reported Samsung device configuration and check how the current camera permission request is triggered. Done means the user can choose a camera app before capture and the selected app handles the request appropriately.
