Unable to decline spam invites

### Steps to reproduce

Some of my room memberships on matrix.org have recently turned into “Content Violation” rooms. I also have a bunch of spam invites that seem related.

From what I can tell, I was able to decline most/all of the invites using my session in Element Desktop. However, the invites still appear in my EX for Android session and when I try to decline there, they seem to spin for a second after I click the “Decline” confirmation prompt, but then they just stick around.

To be able to decline / dismiss invites from EX

Possibly due to the rooms being removed? The invites cannot be declined / removed from EX client.

Reproduce the issue on Element X for Android 25.03.0 using the reported spam invites, then trace the invite decline flow from the Decline confirmation prompt. Compare the result with Element Desktop and inspect any available logs; done means removed or declined invites no longer remain visible in the Android session.
