### Steps to reproduce
I am using Element Desktop in dark mode under Ubuntu 24.04, which also uses dark mode. To the left of the window there is a narrow white line that does not look nice. This happens both with the .deb and Snap versions.
### Outcome
#### I expected the dark mode without a white line.
#### I got a white line to the left of the main application window.

I tried both with .deb and Snap versions. Both seem affected.
