Update does nothing

### Steps to reproduce

Element shows there is an Update and I check online and that is correct but my version:
Version 1.12.10 (1.12.10)
just shutsdown and then does nothing. Doesn't install and update to the new version on MacOS

### Outcome

I expected as was normally the case that the new version would be launched but it just shutsdown and then nothing. And when I start Element again it is still the old version. So the updater seems broken to get to the new version 1.12.11
