Description

### Steps to reproduce

* Go to Settings > Appearance > Advanced
* Add a font name from a TTF font in ~/Library/Fonts (in my case Fantasque Sans Mono from https://github.com/belluzj/fantasque-sans - "Fantasque Sans Mono"
* Nothing happens
* "Negative" test: Using a system font works, e.g. "DIN Alternate" (via https://support.apple.com/en-us/120414 - although I am on Tahoe 26.2)
* This works on Windows 11

~~(This is on 1.12.8 but I didn't see anything in the changelog or issues, this is not my installation I am using, will update here if I get to use 1.12.10 or newer)~~

Also doesn't work if I put it into /Library/Fonts - the wording on the Appearance page says "fonts installed on your system". Also for completeness: I checked the font is available to native mac apps on this system

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?

The moment the name of the font in the input matches the font name, the UI switches (like on Windows or when using a system font)

#### What happened instead?

Nothing
