Description

### Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
2. What do you click?
3. More steps…
Starting to check CPU cycles on linux system via graphical process monitor (ubuntu linux 22.04 LTS, Kernel 6.3 mainline)
2. Checking the CPU-time collumn and comparing it with other processes
3. realizing that element-desktop is the 3rd CPU-cycle hungriest app (even only running in the background), after the gnome-shell and Xwayland, which are necessary and always used system components

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?

#### What happened instead?
I did expect this messenger to use up less resources when running in the background with only 3 contacts and 2 news sources.

Instead it is number 3 of CPU-time using process, after necessary and main components of the OS.

### Operating system

### Homeserver

### Will you send logs?
