Application hangs after maximizing

### Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?

The app window is open and functioning normally.

3. What do you click?

The maximize button.

#### What did you expect?

The application to continue to work normally.

#### What happened instead?

After I maximize the window, it stops responding. Even hovering over the minimize/restore/maximize buttons does nothing whereas normally the icons would appear on those buttons. I have to switch to another application to get the OS System menu, then force quit Element and restart it.
