Element freezes immediately when uploading a large file

### Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
We tried to upload a 2.1 GB video into our element homeserver and it started freezing.
3. What do you click?
We upload a file from our computer as usual.

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
We expect that the movie should be uploaded to our homeserver as normal.

#### What happened instead?
While we tried to upload the movie, the client froze right away without notice.
