Message seen in EXA notification preview but not visible in room

### Steps to reproduce

1. Neil sent me a message
2. I got a notification on my Android with EXA
3. No notification appeared on ED
4. The message isn't visible in ED
5. (Upon opening the room in EXA, the message isn't visible there either)
6. Neil says it is stuck to the bottom of the timeline for him

The message to show on both devices

The message doesn't show in the room timeline
