Threads not showing up

### Steps to reproduce

1. I go on my timeline of a room
3. I try to find a thread I was participating in last week
4. I find the root message but it doesn't have thread in it
5. On mobile, I am able to see the same thread (it has 40+ replies)
6. A member in the same room sends another message in that particular thread
7. I can now see 1 reply in that thread and not 40+ replies

I expected to be able to see all the threads and replies in a thread

#### What happened instead?
The thread wasn't there
