New Room List does not allow Activity Filtering for People while keeping rooms on A-Z

### Steps to reproduce

Switch to People
Switch Sort to Activity
Switch to Rooms

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
For the preference to be kept to allow previous behavior to be preserved.
#### What happened instead?
The preference is for all rooms / dms irregardless of category / tab.

The old behavior was to only apply it for Rooms but under the new GUI the way to preserve the old behavior would be to allow for separate preferences.
