### Steps to reproduce

1. Open the TWIM room and scroll to https://matrix.to/#/!QQpfJfZvqxbCfeDgCj:matrix.org/$c90IjZluRd_syth-NMLlkH63xecOQWq2OIDRzpQ4TBU?via=matrix.org&via=element.io&via=envs.net
2. Notice how the event is rendered in both the main timeline and a thread on itself
