### Steps to reproduce
1. Open laptop
2. Read scrollback in EX Internal
3. Get very confused, as kegan seemed to be answering a conversation i couldn't see
4. Realise i have missing msgs by comparing what I could see with what Jorge could see. (The missing msgs were visible on my EX however).
