Description
### Steps to reproduce
1. Start the usual process of clicking the :heavy_plus_sign: on the People list to create a DM with someone.
2. Send a message into the room to start the conversation.
3. The room isn't marked as a DM, even when the other user joins

The room appears in the People list.

The room appears in the Room list.
