Messages received whilst shutdown were not displayed.

### Steps to reproduce

1. Started up Element this morning as normal.
2. It had been running for half hour, when someone commented with something that wasn't relevant to the previous discussion.
3. I queried them, and they said there was a previous discussion.
4. I checked the Element app on Android, and the discussion was shown there - a set of non-threaded messages to the channel.
5. The discussion still isn't shown on desktop.

All discussions to be shown.

The discussions that happened overnight were not shown.
