Old room is temporarily visible in the left panel after room upgrade

### Steps to reproduce

1.I was already in v9 of the room
2. The room did not show up in its corresponding space, so I was invited to an older version of the room (v6) which was the version of the room when it was added to the space
3. Now I can see both the old (v6) and new (v9) room in the left panel:

#### What did you expect?
The old (v6) room to be hidden and only the new (v9) room to show in the left panel
#### What happened instead?
Both the rooms are in the left panel
