### Steps to reproduce

1. In a room with a recent message that people are reading, so read receipts are coming in.

(This only happens sometimes - I don't know why.)

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?

The timeline should stay steady.

#### What happened instead?

The timeline wobbles up and down as new receipts arrive:
