Cannot open other threads when navigating to a thread event by URL

### Steps to reproduce

1. Navigate to a thread message by URL
* e.g. by clicking on a posted link to a message in a thread
* e.g. https://app.element.io/#/room/!oOceztFKIcDKljGsFN:fiksel.info/$X9KmmxaUErQXCeFBBLs_sVhaUmgXAZ01uWsw_Kq2AmA
2. In the main timeline, click on another thread to open it.

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
* The thread I click on gets opened.
* The URL changes to the room's address - removing the deep link to the thread event.

#### What happened instead?
The thread I click on gets opened but quickly replaced again by the thread from the URL.
