Jump to bottom doesn't jump far enough

### Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
In any room with live conversation and unread messages.
3. What do you click?
I click the circle with the arrow down and the number of unread messages, on the right side of the chat area.

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
The circle to disappear and auto-scrolling to have new arrive message auto appear and visible at the bottom.

#### What happened instead?
The circle stays there and auto-scrolling doesn't happen.
