Issue with cryptography when sending and receiving messages on Element. The messages are being sent, but the keys are not.

### Steps to reproduce

I am unsure of how to reproduce the steps as this issue seems to occur randomly when sending and receiving messages among myself and my friends. Suddenly, all received and sent messages appear encrypted, which forces us to use another platform that is not based on the Matrix protocol

### Outcome

I expected all messages to arrive securely on both my phone and computer. It is disheartening when a friend sends a message that I am unable to read due to it being encrypted. Unfortunately, this is happening frequently among myself and my two friends who use Element for our conversations.
