"View thread" button doesn't work if you initially followed a thread to the timeline

### Steps to reproduce

1. Start in a room with at least two threads.
2. View one of the threads
3. Scroll back to the start of the thread and click "View in room" from the context menu.
4. In the timeline, find the *other* thread and attempt to open it

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?

Thread view switches to the other thread

#### What happened instead?

A bit of a flicker, but no change. In this video you can see the thread view very briefly change to the other thread when I click the "view thread" button, but it changes straight back.
