Description

### Steps to reproduce

1. Open a chat with a lot of unread messages (>100) and start at the bottom of the chat with the most recent message displayed.
2. Start scrolling up.
3. Messages start to completely disappear.

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?
I'd expect to be able to read older messages. They were sent the same day I went to check them out.
#### What happened instead?
Messages started to disappear completely (like a rendering issue) the closer I got to the top, in an attempt to find the first unread message. After more than 10 minutes of waiting they still have not appeared.

After logging out and logging in back again ~2 hours later, the issue was not reproducible anymore.
