### Steps to reproduce

## The Problem

When I use dark mode in Firefox, a huge white box covers the most recent chats and the chat entry:

This does not happen with light mode:

It also doesn't happen in Chrome.

#### What did you expect?

No white box in dark mode

#### What happened instead?

A big white box in dark mode

### Operating system

Windows + Linux (Ubuntu & Fedora), others untested

### Browser information

Firefox 102, does not happen on Chrome
