Hovering over the room search field causes notifications to be "more bold"

### Steps to reproduce

1. Receive ping
2. Hover back and forth over the room search
3. While doing that, watch your notifications become more bold

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?

For notifications to be stable.

#### What happened instead?

Ignoring the fact that my screen recorder doesn't understand what "capture cursor" means, the following happens. Note that the timeline message changes when hovering over the search.
