Description
### Steps to reproduce
1. Try to send an invite while that server is sad to a single user
2. Wait for the request to timeout/give up
3. See error message
### Outcome
#### What did you expect?
For the copy to say something like "We couldn't send an invite to this user"
#### What happened instead?
The dialog said it sent invites "to the other people", but there were no other people.
