Clicking on tile rather than MAB button to download file feels unresponsive

### Steps to reproduce

Start a download of a file by clicking on the tile itself, rather than the 'Download' button in the message action bar

### Outcome

#### What did you expect?

To see some indication of progress as it travels across the network and is decrypted, preferably by triggering the same spinner that the MAB 'Download' button does.

#### What happened instead?

There is no feedback as to whether the click did anything, or what stage of downloading it's at.
