Scroll behaviour in image preview is odd

#### What would you like to do?

When in image view mode (after clicking on an image in the timeline) I would like to be able to pinch/strech to adjust the zoom level, and to scroll horizontally and vertically.

Instead the vertical scroll controls the zoom level today. I need to click to drag the image to see the details I want, which is a little cumbersome and less natural as compared to two fingers swipes on a touchpad.

#### Why would you like to do it?

To have a consistent behaviour with most of the applications I use.

#### How would you like to achieve it?
